I am not showing as being registered, why?

All lobbying engagements expired in OLAC on December 31, 2010.  Lobbyists and their clients are now in the process of renewing their lobbying engagements.  In order to renew an engagement, the information must be entered into OLAC by January 31, 2011.  For more information on renewing lobbying engagements see the post from January 14, 2011.

While an engagement is in “Received” status the registration will not show using the Agent/Employer Search Function in OLAC.   Only those registrations for which signature page and filing fee have been received and processed by the OLIG are active and thus viewable using the OLAC search and list functions.

To see a list of active lobbying engagements on or prior to December 31, 2010 use the Active Agents and Employers by Date function in OLAC under the Lists and Searches link.  Once you have selected the Active Agents and Employers by Date function a new window will open.  Type 12/31/2010 in the type field to see a list of active lobbying engagements on that date. The list will generate in an Excel format (.xls) which may be sorted by any of the column headings using the data sort feature in Excel.
