Report A Violation

The OLIG is able to investigate complaints or inquire as to possible violations of Ohio’s Ethics Laws, Legislative Code of Ethics, or the prohibition on having an unlawful interest in a public contract alleged against members and employees of the general assembly, candidates to the general assembly, and the employees of the state’s legislative agencies.

Formal complaints must be based upon personal knowledge submitted via a sworn affidavit. Information received, which is not based on personal knowledge, may still be examined and considered by the OLIG/JLEC.
