2012 Annual Lobbying Statistics Report Now Available

In accordance with O.R.C. 101.72(H), 121.62(H) and 101.92(H), the OLIG released an annual lobbying statistics report on March 15, 2013. The report contains information on lobbying registrations and expenditures for the calendar year 2012. New features to the report include the number of registered engagements filed by lobbyists and employers indicating lobbying activity before a statewide office, executive agency or public retirement system, a four-year analysis of expenditures by category (Gifts, Meals and Beverages, Receptions and Non-itemized expenditures), and the ten most lobbied pieces of legislation as reported by lobbyists and employers on their Activity and Expenditure filings.
