Office of the Legislative Inspector General Wishes Katie Reardon All the Best in Her New Adventure!

On Friday, January 4, Lobbying Compliance Coordinator Katie Reardon will end her tenure at the OLIG as she sets out on a new adventure in the compliance world.

Katie joined the OLIG on April 30, 2007 and quickly became known in the lobbying community for her incredible customer service. Throughout 2008 and 2009, she worked tirelessly with her colleagues in creating and rolling out the Ohio Lobbying Activity Center.  All while pursuing her Masters Degree in Business Administration.

Katie has been a constant advocate for improvements to Ohio’s lobbying filing system. An advocacy that we are sure she will continue in her new role in the private sector.

For those who had the pleasure of attending a training session conducted by Katie, they should know that those sessions were an example of her willingness to confront her own fears and take on new challenges. When she was asked to take on the task of presenting to large audiences, Katie quietly explained her great fear of public speaking; but did not ask to be excused from the challenge. It is with great pride that we saw Katie grow into the prepared, confident and poised public speaker she is today.

We wish Katie all the best and look forward to continuing to work with her on Capitol Square.
