Lobbying

Who should be listed as the principal/employer contact?

The individual who has the most knowledge of the principal/employer’s lobbying activity.  Often, this is the person designated to do the filings or manage the activity of the principal/employer.  It is important to note that the person listed as the principal/employer contact, whether in the OLAC account or on an initial registration, need not be the individual signing the signature page on behalf of the client.

Why is my client contact information important?

The OLIG uses this information to send reminder notifications of deadlines and for contact purposes for any compliance issues.

Please take a moment to verify the most appropriate person is listed as the contact in your principal/employer account.
