The Legislative Inspector General’s Office Welcomes Robin Hurst – Lobbying Compliance Specialist!

Please join us in welcoming Robin Hurst to the Legislative Inspector General’s Office. Robin joined our team as our Lobbying Compliance Specialist on September 16, replacing Diana Brnusak who returned to the Franklin County Clerk of Court’s Office.

Robin has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration as well as a Master of Business Administration. In addition, Robin brings over twenty years of experience in and around state government. She worked in private sector advocacy as a Senior Consultant in Regulatory and Government Affairs for Verizon Communications. As a former Director of Legislative Affairs for the Office of the Ohio Attorney General and Office of the Treasurer of the State of Ohio under Richard Cordray, and time with the Casino Control Commission, Robin also has significant experience in the public sector.

Robin’s professional background coupled with her communication skills, experience in building relationships, and infectious personality make her uniquely qualified to work with Ohio’s lobbying community in furthering our joint goals of compliance and public disclosure. We are excited to welcome Robin to our team and hope that you will be, too!
